Paula Edmund – BA, LMBT #557

Paula graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. She is currently working as a personal trainer certified through W.I.T.S. Paula combines and utilizes her knowledge, experience and working relationships with various physicians and professionals to ensure the best possible results for her clients.

In 1997, she founded The Edmund Center for Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy to establish a professional, clinical venue for therapeutic massage. Paula is certified by the National Certification Board for Massage and Bodywork Therapy, certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, and licensed by the State of North Carolina.

Margit Etzel– LMBT # 13954

Originally from Germany, Margit has a strong background from the healthcare field and earned her degree in Pharmacy. In addition, she became a Natural Health Professional in 1998.

Margit graduated from the NC Massage School, former Edmund Morgan School. She is certified and/or trained in several techniques and modalities, including Neuromuscular Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, CranioSacral Therapy, Deep Tissue and Kinesiology Taping. Depending on her client’s needs, Margit utilizes her experiences and combines different techniques to customize each treatment. She always works in the comfort zone of each client while releasing muscle tension held in the body.

Being an advocate of an active and healthy lifestyle, she is always interested in sharing her knowledge to better her client’s constitution. Because of her background, she is equipped with the skills necessary to help her clients attain a pain free and recover faster from injuries. She offers preventive and continued care and is passionate about helping people improve their mobility and posture.

Her holistic approach enables her to identify stressors which can cause and retain pain patterns. Given that each body is a storehouse of information, her guidance can help her clients bring consciousness to “daily” habits.

Dina Giugliano- LMBT #

Dina’s journey to a deep appreciation for Yoga began during 1999 as she transitioned from high school dependency to adulthood independence. While her feet were still planted on an exercise mat after a memorable closing meditation, she experienced a moment of transformation. Since then it has been Dina’s mission to use yoga, breathing techniques and meditation as the gateway to individual change and inspiration as each person advances towards greater self-awareness and inner peace.
As a student studying massage and yoga, she was fascinated by the human reproductive system and wanted to learn as much as possible about the body and all of its amazing abilities. This hunger for knowledge inspired Dina to develop a true understanding about how massage and yoga can increase, stimulate and relax the functions of our bodies. Her journey to understand fully the human body is a never-ending one for which she consistently educates herself. With this knowledge she is able to help her clients achieve optimal wellness.
Dina has a diverse background and believes that mindfulness, breathe and movement are the keys to a life of longevity and abundance. She is a graduate of the NY College of Health Professions with an AOS in Massage Therapy and attended a 1395 hour accredited program at the NY College. Dina is a certified Hatha yoga instructor, certified Dharma Yoga Instructor, trained in Pranayama (Breathing exercises) and Meditation and Neo-Ericksonian Hypnotherapy. As the Owner/CEO of Kashmir Hands “Knead the Body to Balance”, she is also an LMT, CYI, CBD, N.Y.S. Licensed, N.C. & Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor (Hatha, Prenatal, Dharma) and Certified Birth Doula (DONA).
Dina also attends workshops through DONA International, Yoga Journal, American Massage Therapy Association and attends numerous integrated mind-body events She is specialized in guiding the rhythm of breath with yoga flow movement as a healing modality for self-understanding. Originally from Thailand, Lisa has worked several years as an accountant for the Royal Thai government.  Lisa eventually discovered her true mission in life was to aid the healing of others, both physically and spiritually.  She began this journey in Thailand by graduating from Wat Pho Royal Traditional Massage School in 2005.  Later, in 2010, Lisa attended The Southeastern Institute of Massage Therapy in Charlotte, NC.  She has received extensive training and is certified in several modalities including Neuromuscular, Thai Yoga Massage and Bodywork, Hot Stones, Deep Tissue, Oncology, Prenatal massage and The Power of Healing Quantum Touch.

Lisa assists her clients with such issues as plantar fasciitis, scoliosis, hip pain, sciatica pain, bursitis, lupus, fibromyalgia, headaches, chronic neck and shoulder pain and countless other issues and soft tissue injuries.

Lisa has extensive training and experience.  She is highly regarded in her ability to successfully treat a great variety of clients including athletes, office workers, and those in need of a session to simply relax.

Sandra Weber obtained her license as a Massage and Bodywork Therapist in 2009. With the intention of treating her clients with a more clinical approach she studied and became certified in many advanced forms of bodywork. With the combination of these advanced manual applications of bodywork and her in depth knowledge of human anatomy Sandra has the ability to assist her clients in becoming pain free through education, increased body awareness, teaching self-correction techniques and one-on-one follow up.
