Staff

Travis Sholar – LMBT #5709

Travis was born and raised in Charlotte. He double majored in French and International Business at UNC Charlotte. He graduated from The Edmund Morgan School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy.

He is a devoted family man spending time with his wife and children. He is increasing his knowledge in many different modalities by furthering his education in massage for the benefit and well-being of others. Travis specializes in Neuromuscular Therapy, Sports Massage, Hot Stone massage, Swedish and Deep Tissue massage. He is now accepting new clients at the Hickory location.

 

Cheryl Poston – LMBT #9122

Cheryl is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She has lived in Hickory for the past 22 years and recently graduated from Natural Touch School for Massage Therapy. Cheryl is certified by the National Certification Board for Massage Therapy and Bodywork and is licensed by the State of North Carolina. A mother of three boys, Cheryl is physically active and understands chronic pain issues that accompany a busy lifestyle. Her goal is to help improve her clients overall health and quality of life through pain management and stress reduction.

Kempie O’Leary Kirkland – LMBT #11232

Kempie was born and raised in western Kentucky. She attended SIU-Carbondale and received her Bachelors in Physical Education. Kempie was a member of the United Stated Army Reserves for ten years and taught as an educator for four prior to entering the massage therapy field. In 2010 she completed training at the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Massage & Bodywork Therapy and certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. She also maintains her membership with AMTA.

Kempie enjoys attending continuing education classes to develop new and broaden her existing skill set in order to continue to improve herself and practice. Her modalities include Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Prenatal, Swedish, and Trigger Point.
