Paula graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. She is currently working as a personal trainer certified through W.I.T.S. Paula combines and utilizes her knowledge, experience and working relationships with various physicians and professionals to ensure the best possible results for her clients.

In 1997, she founded The Edmund Center for Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy to establish a professional, clinical venue for therapeutic massage. Paula is certified by the National Certification Board for Massage and Bodywork Therapy, certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, and licensed by the State of North Carolina.

Kimberly has always had a passion for health and wellbeing and began her training in 1991 at Central Connecticut State University working towards a degree in Health and Wellness. In 1999 she graduated from the Humanities Center of Massage Therapy located in Pinellas Park, Florida. Kimberly recently received her Personal Training Certification through NASM – National Academy of Sports Medicine. She will now be able to help her clients further improve flexibility, stabilization, and strength to bring them to a more functional capacity. She is licensed by the state of North Carolina and certified by the National Certification Board for Massage and Bodywork Therapy. Kimberly recently graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication.

Kimberly holds advanced certifications in Neuromuscular Therapy and Myofacial Release. She is also certified in Prenatal Massage, Massage Cupping, Reflexology, and Kinesio-Taping. Her areas of special interest include sports massage and caring for individuals with sports related injuries and men and women that lead busy lifestyles. Amber graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she earned a Bachelor’s
Degree in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. In 2007, she went on to graduate from Southeastern
School of Neuromuscular and Massage, where she built a strong foundation in anatomy and postural
analysis, and a love for Massage Therapy. Over the past 14 years, she has become a well-rounded
therapist, working in both Spa and Chiropractic environments. Amber is licensed by the state of North
Carolina, and certified in Prenatal Massage, and Cupping. Her massage style is a hybrid mix of Swedish
and Neuromuscular. She is known for her ability to provide the perfect pressure level needed to release
muscle tension with as little discomfort as possible. This allows her clients to receive all the benefits of

Thomas was born in Florida but spent a majority of his life in Texas as a multi sport athlete. He knew from a young age that he wanted to help people after working with his mother in multiple rehab facilities. From there he worked in the medical field for 12 years where he decided to become a massage therapist to further help people. There he has found his true passion to help people lead more fulfilled lives by keeping their bodies in motion. He graduated from Memorial Hermann Medical Massage School in 2009 and since has advanced his knowledge in different styles and techniques of massage. Melanie was always drawn to holistic therapy. She started learning to work with energy in 2004. She studied in the UK to become certified in Health Kinesiology and then decided she wanted to go back to school to learn massage as well. She graduated from Southeastern College with a focus on Neuromuscular Massage Therapy. Since then she’s gotten certified in oncology massage, hot stones, Himalayan stones, cupping, guasha, reflexology and also in Reiki I and II. She went back to school for full certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and is headed back for specialty training in post op MLD – specifically post operative for plastic surgery. Her passion has always been to continue to learn and find new ways to help people heal themselves naturally.

Hollie is native of Upstate New York, she has recently moved to North Carolina and lives here with her husband, her daughter and her two dogs. Hollie has been a practicing licensed massage therapist for 23 years in the state of New York. She is now licensed here in the state of North Carolina.
      Hollie is experienced in many massage modalities including: Neuromuscular massage, Myofascial release, Pre/ Post Natal massage, Senior massage,and Swedish massage. She has worked with chiropractors for more than 10 years utilizing her skills to help relieve chronic and acute pain in her clients. While working with the chiropractors she used a more medical type of massage for pain relief. Her intuitiveness allows her to treat and encourage the body to heal itself during her Neuromuscular and Myofascial treatments.

Blanca Roza Ortiz, Reiki Master/Teacher (RMT), received a BSBA in Marketing and BA in Spanish
from UNC-Charlotte in 2010, after studying abroad in Mexico (2008) and Chile (2010). While
working in the corporate world, Blanca felt compelled to follow her passion by pursuing a
Master’s in Holistic Nutrition from the American College of Healthcare Sciences, where she
received a Graduate Certificate in Wellness Coaching in May 2016.
Blanca’s intuition led her to join local group meditations, study spiritual healing, and finally find
Reiki. She founded Blooming Balance in 2013, and became certified as a Reiki Teacher in April
2019. Since then, she has certified yoga teachers, business owners, addiction cycle breakers,
and medical professionals.
